🌿 A Gentle Beginning
Wanting is natural.
Holy.
Human.
But somewhere along the way, it became something we were taught to hide.
Maybe you were praised for not needing much.
Maybe your desires were called selfish, dramatic, or unrealistic.
Maybe you learned to shrink your longings to fit someone else’s comfort.
But love—your wants are whispers from your soul.
They are not indulgent.
They are sacred.
💫 What You Want, Wants You Too
Desire is a directional force.
It’s not just about outcomes—it’s about aliveness.
Wanting doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful.
It means you’re awake.
You are allowed to want:
- Beauty that serves no purpose but joy
- Rest that isn’t “earned”
- Money that flows with ease
- Support that nourishes, not drains
- A life that delights you
You are allowed to want more without abandoning what you already have.
🕯 Try This
Write a “desire list” without editing or explaining.
What do I want—right now, in this season, in this breath?
What feels so good I almost don’t let myself name it?
If no one were watching, what would I allow myself to long for?
Let it be messy.
Let it be raw.
Let it be true.
No justifications.
No “shoulds.”
Just desire.
Then place your hand over your heart and say:
It is safe to want. It is sacred to want.
🌙 Parting Thought
Desire isn’t greed.
It’s the spark of your becoming.
It’s the pulse of your power.
And it’s time to listen.
